Regular Band Practice
As competition season is coming up quickly on us, we are going to be practicing our competition sets a lot. Keep that in mind for the coming weeks.
This week: worked on tuning with the pipes (starting to sound good)
played Donald McLean's Farewell to Oban and Angus McKinnon together - it's coming along nicely.

Band Practice
Chanter and Pad practice this night- remember to keep working on those competition sets.
For the future - unless you hear directly from the Pipe Major or other executive, band practice is always on. Sorry to people who received the wrong message last night.
Take a look at your calendars regarding the Millet parade on August 28th. We'll make a decision next week.
The Highland Games society is continuing to look for a piping and drumming coordinator - we don't want this event to fall by the wayside like other highland games have. If anyone is able to help let me know.

-Pipes and Drums at this practice - make sure your instruments are ready for St. Patrick's Day next Wednesday.
-Meet at the legion at 6:00 to tune up. The schedule for the evening has been sent around
-Practice is cancelled for next Tuesday
-Take a look at the events schedule that has be emailed to everyone. We need to make sure our numbers are up at events we have agreed to do, so make sure you check them against your calendars for the coming months.
